Match Analysis:

Defense:
Tottenham displayed a superb defensive performance against Burnley. The back 4 got a clean sheet to highlight their performance.

Reguilon provided flair on the wing and crossed the ball into the box many times. He also made several key passes that led to good chances.

Sanchez displayed one of his best performance in a Spurs shirt. He took care of everything that came to him. He cleared every single ball that posed a threat and also made several tackles/blocks to shield Lloris' net. Most importantly of all, Sanchez didn't make a single mistake during the match.

Alderweireld is known for his long balls and he showed that aspect today. He pinged many balls forward and didn't create any defensive mistakes.

Aurier took care of everything on the right side of Tottenham's defense.

Midfield:
The midfield duo of  Ndombele and Hojberg didn't have an outstanding game, but they were still able to keep the structure of the team.

Ndombele displayed his skill multiple times against Burnley. He used his dribbling and passing skills to contribute to Tottenham's attacking chances.

Hojberg had an average game, but he didn't make any mistakes. He stopped Burnley's attacking chances and drove the ball forward.

Attack:
Tottenham had many attacking chances that led to several goals. The attacking players were all very clinical in front of Burnley's net.

Moura used his pace to go past the Burnley back line on multiple occasions. He was able to get a goal which was well finished in the box.

Kane was very clinical against Burnley. He took many shots, but only 1 went in. He made very good passes which created many attacking chances.

Bale displayed his best performance in a Tottenham shirt this season. He looked very clinical and in-shape against Burnley. He got 2 goals and an assist to highlight his performance.

Son was on a bad run of form lately, but he performed very well against Burnley. He was a part of many attacking plays and got 2 assists at the end.

When Alli came on, he was a part of the action straight away. He was a part of buildups that led to very good chances. Alli is slowly becoming favored by Jose Mourinho after his solid performances lately.

Tottenham are only 6 points away from West Ham, who are 4th, with a game in hand. Spurs players must step up their performances if they are to challenge for the Europa League, Carabao Cup Final, and the Premier League.

Come On You Spurs
